FILTERS

H14 HEPA

At Waysafe® we only use the H14 standard filter (produced to conform to EN 1822) in our SA, GP and AS range of cabinets to ensure the high standards of operator safety required in the Asbestos and Pharmaceutical industries.

Sturdy aluminium frame with bonded filter pack, protective grills and neoprene gasket.  Our HEPA filters conform to the requirements of BS EN1822:2008 and are tested in accordance with PD6609, with certified efficiency of 99.995% @ 0.3 micron.  The filters come with a mounting spring kit to ensure that the neoprene gasket seals without fail.

The HEPA filter itself is a water repellent, pleated glass fibre wool, bonded with acrylic latex to give a strong and consistent filter media. It is then mounted in an aluminium frame and the surrounding edges ‘potted’ to make an airtight seal to ensure no dirty air can escape. The filters have a long shelf life due to the method of construction, if stored correctly.

Other, more higher grades of filtration are available from Waysafe®:
